Japan Announces 550M USD Contribution to Gavi’s Replenishment — Our Advocacy Efforts Played a Role
As a result of the advocacy efforts our organization has undertaken since 2023, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba announced that Japan will contribute 550 million USD to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance’s 4th replenishment (Gavi 6.0, 2026–2030).
