Yuka Iijima, Executive Director of Reaching Zero-Dose Children, was invited by Dr. William Moss, Director of the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, to speak at an IVAC seminar.

At the seminar, Yuka presented an overview of her UNICEF survey on the integration of primary health care and immunization services. She also shared the founding background and mission of Reaching Zero-Dose Children, including its youth-led advocacy, educational and awareness-raising initiatives, and engagement in global health.

The question-and-answer session that followed prompted discussion on how best to support zero-dose children, advance equitable access to immunization services, strengthen community engagement, and explore possibilities for future collaboration in research and practice.

NGO Reaching Zero-Dose Children will continue to engage in dialogue with experts, academic institutions, and partner organizations both in Japan and internationally, working toward a society where every child has access to life-saving vaccines.
